AUGUST
Did you know that August was named by the Romans in honor of their emperor Augustus and that during Augustus’s reign, the Roman Senate lengthened the month to 31 days by taking a day from February. I’m thankful for this calendar decision as it takes away a cold Wisconsin day and gives me a warm one. I will need that extra day to accomplish all the things I still want to do with family and friends. I find that the more activities I do, the faster time flies and although I’ve created great memories, I would like time to slow down a bit. So I am going to jump off the “Merry-Go-Round” and create a list and prioritize the things I want to do in the month of August. Here is what I came up with.

1. Go camping with the family.
2. Spend time with friends.
3. Read a book by the campfire.
4. Enjoy a s’more.
5. Tend to my flowers...and weeds.
6. Sit a spell and enjoy my flowers.
7. Take the dog swimming to the lake.
8. Get a pedicure.
9. Take more pictures.
10. Last but not least...scrapbook.

I’m going to post this list to my refrigerator to help me stay on track. I hope this inspires you to create a list before time gets away from you.

Enjoy the 31 days of August and as always...Happy pcCrafting!

Julie
