The sounds of Christmas are playing in the house, the shopping is complete and the smell of baking is in the air. Oh yes, a moment in time from a Norman Rockwell painting. In reality … I’m fighting with the rest of the family between the TV and the stereo playing my favorite Christmas songs … I’ve done most of my shopping online, in my pajamas … and the smell of Christmas baking is coming from a gingerbread candle. But all is well. As I get … I’m going to say it … older, I get wiser. I’ve learn to simplify the season and remember what is important. I’ve weeded through the jingle, the bling, and the chaos and found time with family, friends and what you believe in is the real gift. I leave you with the words to my favorite Christmas song.
