THINK GREEN
The color green symbolizes: life, nature, fertility, and well being. Grass green is the most restful color. Green is the color of balance. It also means learning, growth and harmony. Green is a safe color, if you don’t know what color to use anywhere use green.
Currently green is the most popular decorating color. People waiting to appear on TV sit in “green rooms” to relax. Hospitals often use green because it relaxes patients. The color green contains the powerful energies of nature, growth, and desire to expand or increase.
The Crayola Company started with 8 colors of crayons available in 1903. Today they have 120 core colors available with over 400 different colors being introduced in their nearly 100 year history. Out of those 120 core colors, 27% of those are greens. The colors range from Blue Green, Tropical Rain Forest, Caribbean, and Screamin’Green to Inch Worm Green.
As my trees in the yard begin to bud out and the wintering plants are surfacing, I’m beginning to be surrounded with green. My lawn furniture is out of storage so now I can sit and relax and watch as my yard turns many different shades of green.
The following layouts are dedicated to my favorite color … green.
Green Trivia:
It is said that green is the most restful color for the human eye.
Green has great healing power. It can soothe pain.
People who work in green environments have fewer stomach aches.
Green is beneficial around teething infants.

Put some green in your life when you want:
A new state of balance.
Feel a need for change and growth.
Freedom to pursue new ideas.

Protection from fears and anxieties connected with the demands of others.
