AUGUST 2007
The month of August is a popular month for vacations. Friends of mine are vacationing in Colorado so before they left, I helped their 10 year old daughter create a scrapbook to take along to fill with postcards, tickets and any other memorabilia she wishes to collect. While we worked side by side on this project, I created a scrapbook to showcase our new puppy we are getting this month. I would love to take credit for this idea, but I was inspired by a submission in a scrapbook magazine that we made a few small changes too so it would fit our needs. I’m really excited about how it turned out and thoroughly enjoyed sharing this idea and my scrapbooking tools with a young friend. I’ll be anxious to fill my book with puppy pictures and anxious to see what my young friend has to share with me about their family vacation.

GOING TO THE DOGS
Creatable by Debra Jordan Bryan
. The outside front and back cover were created by cutting a manila file folder in half and covering it with decorative cardstock and embellishments. The inside pages measure 5” x7 ½”. These pages are cut from cardstock and then covered and embellished with the Creatable and more. A hole punched in the corner of the cover and pages allows for them all to be held together with a book ring. This little scrapbook is a great idea for any occasion and is also a way to use up a lot of little scraps you have laying around.
