Step into Spring
By Tammy Sherman
"Wherever you go, nomatter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine."

~Anthony J. D'Angelo

In Like A Lion, Out Like A Lamb

March roars in like a lion
So fierce,
The wind so cold,
It seems to pierce.

The month rolls on
And Spring draws near,
And March goes out
Like a lamb so dear.

By Lorie Hill

I remember the saying "in like a lion, out like a lamb" from when I was a girl in school. We would predict what the weather would be like during the month of March, by choosing a lamb or a lion. I would always chose the lamb; I think it was because I could glue puffy white cotton balls all over my paper lamb to make him cute and fluffy.

Now that I am grown I still like to make my own predictions about the weather, this year I am hoping that March will come in like a lion and go out like a lamb, so that we will have a nice long spring. I am excited about the warmer temperatures that the month of March brings. I love to be outside and work in my yard. We moved into our new home last year and were able to get the grass in last summer. So this spring we will be planting all of the bushes, trees, shrubs and, of course, lots and lots of flowers.

Don’t forget that Easter is the first weekend in April this year. There are many wonderful Easter Creatable collections you could use to make some beautiful Easter greeting cards.

Warm Hugs!

Top Tip of the Month:
My favorite tip for managing those little bits and pieces I want to glue onto my cards, such as alphabet letters and punches, is Scotch removable tape (blue plaid label). You can lay out your pieces (right side down) on the tape (sticky side up), add the glue, then flip the tape over and position where you want the pieces to go. Once the glue is dry, you can simply peel off the tape! Save the tape and use again! Works like a charm!

About:
I have been a HugClub member for about a year and a half now. I stumbled onto pcCrafter when I was looking for some clipart that was farming or agriculture related to make a birthday card for one of my nephews. Once I started shopping and found what I wanted I was hooked. While looking, I saw other Hugware images that I liked and started thinking, "I could use this for that" and so on. But a problem arose, and that was: which collections to buy? There are so many great ones. So I became a member right away. I can’t wait to see what new Creatables you come up with each month. Another problem is finding the time to create with them, because my husband and I farm around three thousand acres and that keeps us pretty busy.

I use the pcCrafter Hugware mostly to create cards for birthdays and other occasions, and for gifts for family members and Christmas presents. I also belong to a ladies club and make prizes for games when we have meetings. I also enjoy reading the message board when I have time and get great ideas from the HugClub members out there.

I like using the pcHugBug deluxe, as it helps me find the image that I am looking for and I can drag and drop it into my print program. Thanks to pcCrafter and all the talented artists for all those great images! Keep up the great work!
