BLACK & WHITE
It didn’t take me long to lose focus on my New Years Resolution of continuing to work on my kids scrapbooks with the mission of getting caught up. Only 2 months have past in 2008 and I’m off track. As crafters and scrapbookers I know you all understand CAD, Crafters Attention Deficit. I couldn’t resist the idea I had in my head so I had to act on it. My sister has planned a wonderful trip for the girls in our family to travel to New York for a long weekend. Since I’m the one that sees everything through the lens of the camera, and I’m the one that has an awesome collection of pcCrafter graphics, I felt it was up to me to show case our trip.
The vision I had in my head was to use all black and white photos. Sticking with that theme, I’ve used black and white for all the layouts in the scrapbook with red as an accent color. By converting the chosen pcCrafter graphics into grayscale I was able to complete my vision.
Using uniformity in a specialty album is very attractive. If you are thinking of starting a scrapbook that will follow one vacation or something special in your life, consider sticking with a few colors and you will find it fun to create and very eye appealing.
Have a great month!
Julie
