pcCrafter FAQ
How do I change my email address, so I can continue to receive the newsletters, now that I have a new email address?
You will want to login and go to the top right hand corner, click on “My Account”. Then you will see your personal information. Click on “change” and update your email address. This will automatically send the newsletters to your new email address.
I placed an order and have never received my products. How long does it take to get them?
You may have ordered one of our many downloadable products. You can immediately download them to your computer. You will also need to download a browser to view them if you do not already have one. You can get the Free HugBug Browser Lite
from here
. You can get your downloadable products by logging in and going to the top right hand corner of the page and click on "My Account". On this page scroll down and you will see them listed under Past Downloads.
I am installing a HugWare CD but it gives me an error message that a file was a bad image. How do I install this?
You may receive these errors when installing on the newer Windows Operating Systems. Despite the errors it does install to your computer. If you see the 2 icons on your desktop the program should be installed. Now try running the program by clicking on the icons that are located on your desktop.
I was wondering what is HugWare? How do I use it and what can I do with it?
HugWare
is a line of computer clip art software. Each CD package has approximately 150 images and 3 fonts. We have over 30 different collections to choose from. We also have a line of
Creatables
. They are mini collections that have approximately 30 images each. After purchasing the Creatables you are given access to download them immediately. HugWare is on a CD and it is mailed to you after placing your order. Included in each of our CD's, is the HugBug Browser which is where all the collections load to and are organized. Then you can either copy & paste (or drag & drop) the image of your choice into your creating program. Use the images to create cards, newsletters, stationery or add them to your scrapbooking. The use of HugWare is only limited by your imagination.
I am trying to use an image from the HugBug Browser. I copy it to the Clipboard but how do I get it from the Clipboard? I don’t know where to find my computer’s Clipboard!
Your Computer’s Clipboard runs in the background. Each time you click on copy it holds the image or text until you click on paste or click copy again. The Clipboard can only hold one thing at a time. After clicking Copy to Clipboard in your HugBug Browser just go into your creating program to paste the image to your page.
There is a white box around all of Painted images, so I cannot layer on a background. Is there anything I can do?
If you own the
Deluxe Browser
there is a feature that will take the white out of a .jpg image. All you have to do is hold down your “SHIFT” key while you drag and drop your image into your creating program, doing this will remove all true white from the image. (Note… sometimes the image has true white in it and it will be removed, such as the middle of a cloud). You might also try layering with the Colored or Black & White images. They are .wmf files which naturally have a transparent background.
I installed a Font Collection and I can’t find them in my Browser. Where did they go?
Font CD’s will install into your Windows Font folder…not the Browser. You will find them by opening Word or any other printing program and look into your font list. You should see them listed there. They will start with PC.
I do not have a credit card. Is there any other way I can place an order? Do you except PayPal?
We do not except PayPal at this time. You can always send in a check or money order. You can place your order on our site and during the checkout choose to pay with a check. Print out your receipt and send in a copy with your check or money order. Mail it to: pcCrafter, 151 East 3450 North Spanish Fork, UT 84660.
I submitted a question to the HelpDesk and received an email saying that it was updated. But it didn't tell me what my answer was.
The Helpdesk can be kind of tricky. You will need to click into your issue and scroll down inside the boxes. It is sometimes lower than what you can see on your screen.
