Always with Love
By Meg Abreu
"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage."

~Lao Tzu

Hi Everyone! It is hard to believe that it is already May, and Mother's Day is just a week away. As I think about Mother's Day there is one gift that that always seems to stand out more then the rest. It was a simple homemade gift that my oldest son, Kelton, made when he was in kindergarten. The gift was his handprint set in plaster of paris. Attached to his handprint was this poem:

Sometimes you get discouraged...
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls.
But everyday I'm growing
I'll be grown up someday
And all these tiny handprints
Will surely fade away.
So here's a final handprint
Just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small.

Kelton is now thirteen years old and this poem couldn't be more true. I do miss his tiny little hand prints, but most of all I miss the endless amount of hugs and kisses that he so freely gave when he was so small. I do enjoy being a mother and look forward to many more happy Mother's Days.

I hope that you all have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Warm Hugs!

Top Tip of the Month:
I used an ice cream topping or jelly jar, folded a thick paper towel to fit down in the bottom of the jar, wet it down really well, then took the top off my glue bottle and stood it in the jar with the tip on the wet towel. Now you have glue ready at the drop of a hat. No lid to remove each time and no dried up glue puddle! The wet towel keeps the tip from drying out and being wet it won't stick. When I am finished I'll put the cap back on my bottle, re-wet my towel the next day and start over.

About:
A cheery hello from down Texas way! I have been a member of the pcCrafter family for many years. I love all the content that we receive and use it frequently. I am a kindergarten aide in a small rural school and use the graphics in almost everything we do. The children love to see what I've got next for them to do (and I think even their parents do too!) I usually make gallon cans for the teachers each year and have never yet heard a complaint! Right now I have several of the 4x4 ceramic tiles at school for the teachers to enjoy. (I even sold one this week!)

Thank you pcCrafter for putting together such high-quality artists and graphics! Keep up the great work!
