Quilt Gift Set Project
Venus R. Thomas

Supplies:

Freezer Paper

Scissors
Quilt Fabric
Iron
Crayons
Empty Paint Can

HugWare Used:

Baby Buggies

Instructions:

Step 1.

I printed the clip art and then used it as a pattern. I then transferred the design to fabric and CRAYOLA colored the design.

Step 2.

After heat setting the design I embroidered the outlines of the design. The design was used as the center panel in a doll quilt and finished as a regular quilt would be. The finished doll quilt measures 21" X 23".

Step 3.

I then ironed fabric onto freezer paper cut to the size paper my printer will handle and created a label for the back of the doll quilt.

Step 4.

To complete the gift set I made the decorated paint can to hold the doll quilt and a few play baby bottles.

Note:
A much faster way to make the center of the doll quilt is to use treated fabric made to run through the printer. I wanted a more vintage look though as I was using reproduction 30's fabrics on the quilt.
