I was looking for something different to send to a friend for her birthday. Obviously I was thinking about it while my family went out for pizza one night...hehehe As we walked out I asked if I could have a new box to take with me, of course I got a little bit of a strange look but they gave me one anyway. :) This is what I did with it...

Instructions:

Step 1. For the top of the box I used DIP to create an 8" x 8" square. I printed that out and then layered it onto two slightly larger pieces of colored paper (that is where the 12x12 scrapbook paper comes in). I then glued that to the top of the box.
Step 2. I measured the sides of the box and then again created them in DIP and again printed them out and glued them to the sides. Depending on the box you use you will have to measure every time. I have done two two different boxes and they have both been different sizes on the sides, roughly they are about 1.5" x 10" all the way around.
That is it, you have a fun and personalized gift box! The next fun part is filling it! I picked a few things to make to match and then I will also add a few more purchased goodies. In the picture you can see that I "hugged" a notebook, & photo album and I also made a bag topper for some kisses and some votive candle boxes, bookmarks... A lot more goodies will fit in there. :)
