Instructions:

Step 1.

Open a blank page in your favorite graphics program on your computer.

Step 2.

Copy and paste the “Recipe tag back” the “Recipe tag front” and the “Recipe card insert” images on to the page and print out on white card stock.

Step 3.

Cut out the three images. Turn the front tag part over and run the double stick tape around the two sides and the bottom. Attach it to the front of the “Recipe tag back” image so that it forms a pocket.

Step 4.

Punch a 1/4 in. hole in the top of the tag where indicated and attach a length of raffia through the hole, making sure it is long enough to tie around your jar and make a bow.

Step 5.
Insert the “Choco-Nutter Recipe” graphic into the pocket.

Note:

Choco-Nutter Layered Bar Mix:
½ C. M&Ms
1 C. Semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/4 C. Crisp rice cereal
1 C. Peanut butter chips
½ C. Flaked coconut
1 ½ C. Graham cracker crumbs

Layer first five ingredients into a 1 ½ quart jar. (As I couldn’t find a 1 ½ qt. jar, I used a 2 Qt. jar that I found a Wal-Mart, it seemed to work fine.) Put the graham cracker crumbs into a small plastic bag and place in jar on top of other ingredients. Seal jar with lid; cover lid with fabric.

(Hint: use a rubber band to hold fabric in place while you tie the bow.) Attach the Recipe tag and fabric to jar with raffia.

Makes a great birthday or “Just because” gift for a friend or neighbor...It’s also an easy and fun recipe for children to make with a little adult supervision...Enjoy!

Baking Instructions (Included on tag in free download):

½ C. Butter or Margarine, melted
1 Can (14 oz.) Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Jar Choco-Nutter Layered Bar Mix

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray sides of 13 X 9 pan with nonstick cooking spray. Pour melted butter evenly in bottom of pan.

Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs from jar over butter, mix together and press firmly, covering bottom. Pour condensed milk evenly over crumbs. Sprinkle the rest of the jar's contents evenly over the milk layer; press gently.

Bake 25 to 30 min. or until top just begins to brown. Cool completely in pan. Cut into bars... enjoy! Makes about 36 bars.
