| Instructions: |
|
| Step 1. |
Measure cover card stock 10”x 9 ¾” (or to fit your folder) and round the corners with a corner punch or scissors. In the center of the card stock, score five fold lines 1/8 inches apart. This will make a nicer fold over the accordion file. See diagram. |
| Step 2. |
Open design program and set format to landscape. Copy and paste rooster border and size to 9” long. Add desired text and make another identical banner for the back of the folder. Print on sticker paper and trim closely; apply to folder cover. |
| Step 3. |
In design program, (set in landscape format) copy and paste rooster and hens image and add desired text. To the right, make six writing lines and add “Notes”. Print and trim to fit your folder, approximate 4 ½”x 9 ¾”. Apply to inside panel with double stick tape. |
| Step 4. |
Mark the centers of each edge of the cover and set eyelets. Thread ribbon through the back cover eyelet and tie in a knot with an 8” tail. With a small piece of tape, secure the ribbon up the back of the inside of the cover to keep it in place while attaching to folder. Attach to the cover back of the accordion folder with double stick tape. |
| Step 5. |
Thread ribbon through the eyelet on the cover front. Tie the ribbon and trim tails to match. |
