Color Cards

Supplies:

Cardstock

Laminate (optional)
Color Printer
Scissors
HugWare Used:
Various Collections

Instructions:

Step 1. Open your favorite graphics program and size to 9x7. Choose a colored background (lets say Red) then place a 8.5x6.5 white rectangle over the center of the background to make the middle clear while leaving a small border.
Step 2. Search through your graphics to find items that match your background color. For red I found a red crayon, apple, tulip & wagon. Choose 3-4 graphics and arrange on white rectangle. Also type the color name on the white rectangle.
Step 3. Print on white cardstock, trim off white border, adhere to a full sheet solid colored cardstock that matches the color of your sheet and laminate.
Step 4. Repeat above with as many colors as you would like. I've started out with 9 color cards. Hang the color cards at your childs eye level through out your home.
