Get Well Kitty Tissue Box

 



 

Supplies:

1 box Kleenex Juniors

1 sheet of 12”x12” scrapbook paper or gift wrap paper
1 sheet GP card stock
Scotch Tape
Glue Stick
HugWare Used:

Instructions:

 

Step 1. Punch out and save cardboard opening on the box of tissues
Step 2. Center tissue box on the back side of the sheet of patterned paper and sketch box circumference
Step 3. Cut the save cardboard opening from box top 1/8 inch all around
Step 4. Center this cut out in the sketch of box on the back side of the patterned paper and trace around the edges
Step 5. Use a Coluzzle square template or exacta knife to cut tissue opening
Step 6. Take glue stick and light apply glue near the opening on the paper and then press onto top of tissue box, lining up the two openings.
Step 7. Next wrap the box gift style and tape down the edges of paper making ends and corner neat. Note: if using 12x12 inch scrapbook paper, there will be a small gap on the bottom and use the cut out piece to “patch”
Step 8. Open design program, copy/paste cat and mouse sign and size to 3 ¾ inches and add desired text. Model says “Get Well Kitty Cat!’.
Step 9. Copy/Paste several cat images and size to two inches.
Step 10. For back stand up image copy and paste ‘border kitten’ image and size to 5 inches long. You must have the top is this image 3 ½ inches from the top of the page. Image will be folded over after printing. Print all images.
Step 11. Take border kitten image and fold just over the cat’s ears, cut out both layers closely. Fold cats paws ¼ inch and glue to top of tissue box. Glue back tab of image to the backside of box for strength.
Step 12. Glue the text sign and small cats as desired.
