CD Album




 

Supplies:

- Mat board or chip board
- 12X12 sheet of paper
- 6X6 piece of coordinating paper
- Ink for distressing
- Adhesive of choice
- 5 or more CD sleeves (plastic preferred)
- Hole punch
- 2 binder rings
- Assorted coordinating ribbons
- Glitter glue
- Gel pens
- Glass beads
- Liquid glass
- Hugware

Instructions:

 

Step 1. Print out clipart of choice. Glue to matboard and cut out. Embellish with glitter glue, liquid glass, glass beads, gelly pens, etc.
Step 2. Cut mat board or chip board 5.5in x 6in (2 pieces).
Step 3. Cut cover paper (from 12X12) 5.5in x 6in (4 pieces).
Step 4. Cut 1in x 5.5in strips (2 pieces).
Step 5. Fold all strips in half. Miter one corner on all 6 in pieces.
Step 6. Miter both corners on 5.5 in strips.
Step 7. Ink all edges, including folder edge.
Step 8. Glue or tape cover to board (both sides).
Step 9. Place folded strips over edges, unmitered edge to back edge of book (by punched holes), double mitered ends across 5.5 side.
Step 10. Match up holes on CD sleeves and punch through cover board, front and back.
Step 11. Adhere assorted clipart to cd sleeves.
Step 12. Adhere clipart to front of album.
Step 13. Assemble book with rings.
Step 14. Cut ribbons to 5.5 inches and tie to rings.
