Birthday Card





 

Supplies:

- White cardstock
- Diamond Glaze
- Exacto knife
- Gemstone brad
- Adhesive of choice

Instructions:

 

Step 1. Print out the card directly from the clipart onto white cardstock.
Step 2. Then embellish the flower petals using Diamond Glaze. This gives the petals a wet look. I used the glaze only around the edges, but it could be used over the entire flower, and on other parts of the card.
Step 3. Once the glaze dried, use an exacto knife to cut out the flower. I didn't make my cuts exact, but attempted to follow the outline of the petals.
Step 4. Once cut out, find a coordinating color for the background. Used a gemstone brad in the center of the flower and attach it to the piece of background paper. Then adhere this paper to the inside of the card, with the flower centered in the area it was cut from.
Step 5. Once attached, pull the flower through the opening, and press the petals forward to give them a more raised look.
